The second annual Maryland Thoroughbred Industry Renaissance Awards will be presented to the top Maryland owner, trainer, jockey, breeder, broodmare and stallion, as well as the champion Maryland-breds of 2018, on Feb. 12 at American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. The Renaissance Awards were created to recognize the best of Maryland racing and breeding from the previous year and are a cooperative effort between the Maryland Horse Breeders Association, Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association and Maryland Jockey Club.
Invitations to the Renaissance Awards have recently been mailed, and tickets may be purchased in MarylandThoroughbred.com online store here. Ticket price is $150 per person. The Baltimore band Black Tie will provide music throughout the evening’s festivities and dancing after dinner.
