Morgans Ford Farm’s 3-year-old filly Crabcakes, facing older horses for the second straight race, extended her win streak to three in the $100,000 Maryland Million Distaff on Oct. 21 at Laurel Park.

Crabcakes winning 2017 Maryland Million DistaffSet off as the 1-5 favorite, the daughter of Northview Stallion Station sire Great Notion has now won six of her 10 lifetime starts, three of them stakes. Maryland-bred offerings at Kentucky fall mixed sales

A total of 60 Maryland-breds are catalogued to the major fall breeding stock sales in Lexington, Ky. Two are headed to Fasig-Tipton’s marquee November Sale on Sunday, Nov. 4. And 58 can be found in the Keeneland November Breeding Stock sale, which runs from Monday, Nov. 5 through Friday, Nov. 16.
